About Us

South Texas Research Institute, led by Dr. Rahmee Patil, is a patient-centered clinical research site in the Rio Grande Valley. STRI conducts late-phase clinical trials focusing on metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease and Alzheimer's disease. STRI offers liver exams and memory exams to the RGV community at no cost and without proof of health insurance.
