Texas Mutual Insurance Company Driver Safety Campaign: Give Safety a Hand

The first session will be a panel moderated by Pat Niekamp, co-founder and publisher at Texas CEO Magazine, and will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Woody Hill, vice president of safety services with Texas Mutual, will lead the second session from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., which will be a training on driver safety for the oil and gas industry. Attendees will also receive ?Give Safety a Hand? toolkits to take back to their workplaces. We wanted you to be one of the first to know that Texas Mutual Insurance Company is launching its driver safety campaign, Give Safety a Hand, here in the Rio Grande Valley. The goal is to help keep people safe and reduce the number of traffic-related fatalities that occur on South Texas Roads. Driving is the single biggest cause of work-related deaths. A significant number of accidents occur in businesses that are not in the transportation sector, including those in the oil and gas industry. Simple behavioral changes can save lives. That?s why we?ve created our Give Safety a Hand campaign and SafeHandTexas.org. Please join Texas Mutual, city and business leaders from the Rio Grande Valley, and others as we celebrate the campaign kick-off with the 2015 Safety Summit.
