Sirens of Song
The Harlingen Concert Association 2017-18 season opens on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, with “Sirens of Song,” featuring American Idol favorite Piper Jones. Jones has been dubbed a “natural talent” by Harry Connick, Jr. She will be joined by piano, acoustic bass, and a suitcase full of costumes and props to showcase the songs and stories of legendary ladies of song, including Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, and more. This is sure to be an entertaining evening of great jazz, blues, and torch songs.
