Library Night Out

Library Night Out is the culminating event for the library's celebration of National Library Week. It will take place in conjunction with Viva Streets Harlingen. There will be music, food, and something for everyone! The library's Resource Expo will connect participants with many local nonprofit and business organizations. Children can play games that glow. Adults can make an aromatherapy clay diffuser. And everyone is invited to enjoy the Mascot Dance-Off at 7:45 PM on the Main Stage located on '76 Drive. Come cheer for your favorite school, business, or library mascot as they compete for dancing glory! The Friends of the Library will also be selling children's books at a discount, and all funds from book sales will benefit library programs and events.
