Language of Business Seminar

The University of Texas—Pan American Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will conduct a FREE seminar on the Language of Business on April 14 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Harlingen Area Chamber of Commerce. The session covers the financial management tools necessary to run a business: the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement. ''These tools gauge how well the business is doing or where it might need fine-tuning in order to blacken the bottom line. For the business-owner, these are vital, analytical tools for business management or when seeking financing with a lender''. The SBDC seeks to promote economic growth and business development in the Rio Grande Valley. It does so by offering one-on-one counseling services, assistance in business plan development, and business training on a variety of topics.
