Coronary Health Improvement Project (CHIP)

The sessions will empower participants within 30 days to make better lifestyle choices to disarm Diabetes, Lower High Blood Pressure, Reduce High Cholesterol by 15-20%, shed extra pounds, Improve digestion and regularity, and to Reduce reliance on expensive prescription drugs! Sessions will be held at the Texas Room of Golden Palms Retirement & Health Care Center at 2101 Treasure Hills Blvd., in Harlingen The program include: 2 HeartScreen health evaluations- on Oct 1, before seminar begins; and on Oct. 29, at the end of seminar to evaluate participant's progress. CHIP's 16 Regular sessions will begin Oct. 4 to October 28 - 4 days a week (Mondays through Thursdays) for 4 weeks at 2 hours every session.
