Business Planning: The Importance of a Business Plan

The U.S. Small Business Administration has organized a series of eight (8) Friday Informational Workshops to help small business owners or anyone thinking about starting a business properly start, build and grow. Additionally, the sessions will provide an opportunity for participants to connect with representatives from federal, state and local business resource agencies for expert information. March?s session is in partnership with the University of Texas Pan American Small Business Development Center. The presenter will provide information on the power of business planning and why it?s important to prepare a business plan. A sound business plan will: ? Define and focus on your business objective! ? Be an essential part of the loan application process. ? Be used to obtain advice from experts. ? Uncover omissions and/or weaknesses in the business idea & planning processing! ? The key components of a business plan. Get answers from the experts!
