Beyond Arts Gallery Presents "Dreams, Hope & Magic" by Puente

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: "Dreams, Hope, and Magic" By Puente

In the making since 2008, artist Puente presents his series in which the viewer is exposed to a mystical world with surreal protagonists who phase between the realms of dreams and magic. Embellished with despair and anguish, works display floating figures, beasts, angels, and people who are all trying to cope with every day ailments. The problems of the figures are not immediately portrayed, forcing the viewer to really think and wonder, and in the end realize that the worries of those in the paintings are the same problems that people go through day-by-day. Mothers worry about their children, fathers worry about the future, children worry about dreams, and nature itself strives to survive in an ever-changing world.

Dreams, Hope, and Magic will run from January 15, 2015 to March 7, 2015 with an opening reception on Thursday, January 15th from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
