The U.S. Small Business Administration has organized a special series of four (4) human resource workshops to help small business owners or anyone thinking about starting a business avoid legal issues, as well as employee dissatisfaction. Human resources is a critical component of employee well-being in any business, no matter how small. HR responsibilities include payroll, benefits, hiring, firing, and keeping up to date with state and federal laws. Additionally, the sessions will provide an opportunity for participants to connect with representatives from federal and state resource agencies for expert information. Part III will be presented by the Society for Human Resource Management RGV and will teach participants the importance of setting expectations for your new hires. Discover and Learn: ?
