Annual Women's Business Summit

This year's Summit will focus on Opportunities for Entrepreneurs and Aspiring Entrepreneurs. The Women's Business Summit is an annual event organized by the Women's Business Center (WBC) a program of the Southwest Community Investment Corporation (SCI). This event is geared towards women entrepreneurs right here in the Valley and is intended as a venue to educate individuals on the latest developments in the small business arena. We're expecting around 300 small business owners to attend this event, along with our local Congressman and the majority of our local State Elected officials. At this time, we've already secured the commitments from Congressman Ruben Hinojosa, Rep. Veronica Gonzalez, and Ms. Ana Harvey- SBA Assistant Administrator for Women's Business Ownership from Washington, D. C. The goal for this year's Summit is to create thought-provoking discourse in the areas of Innovation, Leadership, Access to Capital, Job Creation & Marketing. Key note speaker will be Arcilia C.
