DESCRIPTION:Take part in the opening reception for the photo exhibit\, "New Views of Historic Downtown Harlingen\," on Thursday\, June 5th\, from 6-7:30 p.m. at D'Arte Centre\, 115 E. Jackson.  The exhibit consists of 34 photos that were submitted during the Preservation Month Photo Contest organized by Downtown Harlingen\, in which children\, teens\, and adults were invited to participate. Entries highlight buildngs\, streetscapes\, and architectural details.  The photo contest winners will be announced at approx. 6:30 p.m.  The exhibit will remain on view until the end of June.
